ALVA J. FIELD MEMORIAL TRUST
Scholarship Program
The scholarship program between Alva J. Field Memorial Trust and Williston State College requires a student who wishes to attend at Williston State College to apply directly through Williston State College. Williston State College has different deadlines and its own enrollment process. The Alva J. Field Memorial Trust will no longer be handling applications to attend Williston State College.
The Alva J. Field Memorial Trust Education Scholarship Program funds will be paid directly to the college in care of the student. This money may be used for tuition only.
All applications for non Williston State College students must be returned to law office by the due date. November 1st for Spring Semester. April 1st for Fall Semester.
The Alva J. Field Memorial Trust is a Court supervised charitable Trust. Guidelines approved by the Court to award scholarships require a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and the applicant must be a full-time student.
Accordingly, for students who obtain their GED for high school, students with a GED must complete one (1) semester of college and obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better to qualify for consideration for scholarship funding.
